Interview with Professor Edgar Schein
Sloan Fellows Professor of Management Emeritus, MIT Sloan School

Shein describes the differences between consultants and field researchers, how a consultant goes about ending a business relationship, the skills needed for a good researcher, and the methods he uses to train students. The interview concludes with Shein talking about how to present the findings of a project, his future work, double loop learning, and what Shein finds most satisfying about his work as a field researcher.
