James T. Snyder, Esq., is a partner at Greene & Reid, PLLC, where his focus is trial practice, personal injury, consumer class actions, criminal defense and appellate practice. He is an adjunct professor in the Legal Studies Program at Syracuse University and has taught in the Sociology and Criminal Justice Department at Le Moyne College. Mr. Snyder was a speechwriter and assistant counsel to the Honorable Governor Mario M. Cuomo of the State of New York, and past senior trial attorney for The Legal Aid Society of the City of New York, Criminal Defense Division. He earned his A.B. degree, magna cum laude, from Colgate University and his J.D. degree from Albany Law School of Union University.

Mr. Snyder is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers (Board Member), the Frank H. Hiscock Legal Aid Society (Board Member), and the Association of Disability Rights Counsel. He is a recipient of the President’s Pro Bono Attorney Service Award from the New York State Bar Association for founding the Franciscan Legal Referral Clinic in Syracuse, New York.
