ADA Anniversary Tool Kit

Throughout the year and on the ADA Anniversary – July 26 – celebrate the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in your workplaces, schools and communities. While much progress has been made, much remains to be done.

ADA Live! (WADA) Show

A free monthly show broadcast nationally on the Internet by the Southeast ADA Center. “ADA Live!” focuses on rights and responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and airs from 1:00 p.m. -1:30 p.m. (Eastern) on the first Wednesday of each month. No registration is required. You can submit your questions, explore resources and the complete program schedule and connect to archived shows on www.adalive.org.

ADA Case Law/Legal Briefs

Explore news and resources on the ADA, Olmstead Decision, and U.S. Circuit Courts. Review legal and policy developments relevant to civil rights protections and the impact of court decisions in the Southeast Region under the ADA are analyzed in partnership with the Burton Blatt Institute (BBI).

ADA Research

Analysis of requests that the Southeast ADA Center has received for information, training and technical assistance since 1990 guide development of innovative research to address these two issue of particular importance to the Southeast Region:

  • Barriers to employment and economic self-sufficiency of people with disabilities;
  • Increasing the civic and social participation of people with disabilities within their communities and across America.

With guidance from our Partners and State Affiliates, we are providing resources and implementing research that will result in new knowledge and have great potential to impact policy and practice.
