It is focused on issues of equity and access to technology and he approaches this from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. His research currently has three primary, interrelated foci: (1) The exploration of how constructions of disability and technology affect access to education; (2) Inquiry into the accessibility of Internet technologies; and (3) Design and development research on access to education via mobile technology and mobile learning.
