Brian McLane, M.Ed.
Executive Director

McLane formerly served as Assistant Commissioner of the New York State Department of Education Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities, Chairman for the New York State Mental Retardation & Developmental Disabilities committee, and as New York’s delegate to the White House Conference on the Handicapped. He is a longtime member of the Regents Task Force on Postsecondary Education and Disabilities (NY), the Governor’s Disability Constituency Cabinet Workgroup (NY), the Governor’s Advisory Council on the Handicapped (NY), and the Governor’s Task Force on Accessibility (NY). In acknowledgement of McLane’s extensive public service career, Syracuse University established an Endowment Fund and a Fellowship at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs to provide greater opportunities for students with disabilities to attend the University. He was inducted into the National Hall of Fame for People with Disabilities in 2000. McLane is President and founder of Paradigm Solutions, a company which advocates for and advances professional solutions for individuals with disabilities.
