Bios

Tamara Wright, VA SSVF Regional Coordinator
Tamara Wright is the Southwest Regional Coordinator for the SSVF program. She has been with the VA for 2 years and was hired from the Presidential Management Fellowship program. Her background is economic vitality in local government and she has a Master's in Public Administration.

Lisa DeJonge, Veterans Outreach Center
Lisa DeJonge was a Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Warfare Sergeant in the United States Army from 1999-2003. Following her honorable discharge from the service she attended college at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) where she studied Biology. Lisa joined the Veterans Outreach Center as the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program Specialist in 2011. In 2012 she took on the role as SSVF Program Manager and during her tenure as the Program Manager she was instrumental in the Veterans Outreach Center's recent two year grant renewal and a new SSVF grant in Buffalo, NY. This new program will be able to service the Western New York veterans and their families. She is also a part of the HMIS Committee and the Coordinated Access Task Force in Rochester, NY.

Adam Wawrynek, Program Director, Services for the UnderServed, Inc.
(Services for the UnderServed, Inc is a comprehensive human services provider that serves over 4000 individuals across numerous divisions including Mental Health, DD, PLWA and Veterans Services)
Adam Wawrynek began his career in mental health supportive housing and is currently the Program Director for the Services for the UnderServed Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program (SSVF) in New York City, a VA recognized National Mentor Agency to first-year SSVF grantees. In his previous position, Adam served as the Assistant Director for the SUS Homeless Veterans' Reintegration Program (HVRP) and Homeless Female Veterans and Veteran Families Reintegration Program, focusing on the employment needs of former service members and their families. He is an Advisory Committee member for both the National Association of Social Workers (NASW-NY State Chapter) Veterans' Mental Health Training Initiative and the Veterans Mental Health Coalition of New York City, and assisted in the development of the new SUS HUD VASH and Housing First ACT Demonstration Projects in New York City.
