BBI's Janet Lord hosted a delegation from the Islamic High Court in Nigeria in Baltimore, Maryland in April.  Their Lordships were sponsored by Globelinx, based in Columbia, Maryland and spent a day in a human rights training facilitated by BBI's senior vice president for human rights and inclusive development.  Stephen Cullen, principal at Miles and Stockbridge and pro bono director graciously provided conference facilities for the workshop which overlooked Baltimore’s scenic Inner Harbor.  BBI is building strong links with universities across Africa and looks forward to an expansion in its human rights and disability rights work with partners in West Africa and elsewhere on the continent.
