Longtime partner of BBI, NUI Galway’s Center for Disability Law and Policy, will launch its Summer School again this year in June with a thematic focus on disability inclusive development.  Leading experts in the field of disability inclusive development will serve on the faculty, including BBI’s vice president for human rights and inclusive development.   Says Lord:  "There is a tremendous amount of work to be done to ensure that development programmes are fully inclusive of persons with disabilities.  This requires a considerable amount of work to be done by disabled peoples organizations and disability advocates to engage effectively in the design, implementation and evaluation of development programmes across all sectors of development.  I am so pleased that the Summer School is taking up this as its thematic focus this coming summer."   BBI’s Janet Lord will again teach at the Summer School, along with BBI Senior Fellow, Steve Estey.
