BBI's annual magazine garners Hermes Creative Award

Snapshots of Impact, the annual magazine of the Burton Blatt Institute (BBI) at Syracuse University, received a Platinum Award in the Hermes Creative Awards 2012 competition. The Platinum Award recognizes the magazine as one of the most outstanding entries in the publications/magazine category.
Snapshots of Impact was launched in 2011. The inaugural 30-page issue features a series of inspirational stories about people with diverse disabilities who have been positively impacted by BBI’s innovative programs, research, and partnerships. Anthony Adornato ’99, BBI director of communications, produced the magazine in partnership with SU’s Office of Publications.
The Hermes Creative Awards, managed by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media.
