Medical journal features Q-and-A with BBI researcher
The March 2012 issue of Annals of Long-Term Care: Clinical Care and Aging features a Q-and-A with Marcia Scherer ’70, co-principal investigator for the Center on Effective Rehabilitation Technology (CERT) at BBI.
In the interview, Scherer discusses the importance and challenges of providing assistive technology to elders with cognitive impairment. She has authored or co-authored nine books including Assistive Technologies and Other Supports for People With Brain Impairments (January 2012).
Scherer and other CERT team members work to identify, document, and analyze models of rehabilitationand assistive technology shown to be effective in promoting successfulemployment outcomes for people with disabilities.
