Syracuse University sports fans can add one more item to their collection of Orange gear this basketball season – the Loud Towel. Proceeds from the sales of the Loud Towel will be donated to the Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University, Syracuse Say Yes to Education, and the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation.

The Loud Towel was created by former SU basketball player Lawrence Moten and former SU football player Dave Jacobs. “Lawrence and I wanted to do something to give back to the community that has meant so much to us over the years,” says Jacobs. “We couldn’t think of three more meaningful organizations and causes—disability rights, access to education, and eliminating cancer.”

The Loud Towels are on sale through the basketball season at Shirt World, 125 Marshall Street on SU’s campus. The cost is $7.99 per towel.
