BBI to host the "Digital Freedom Initiative: Global Access to Information and Technology for People with Disabilities” meetings

The Burton Blatt Institute (BBI) at Syracuse University. is hosting the “Digital Freedom Initiative: Global Access to Information and Technology for People with Disabilities” meetings on February 5-6, 2009 at its global headquarters located at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. 

Topics to be addressed include Digital Freedom Initiative Goals and Objectives; Global and Domestic Issues in Technology Access; discussion of the conceptual model and framework; and a brief update from Washington, D.C.  Fourteen participants, including international representatives from Brussels, Belgium; Galway, Ireland; Haifa, Israel; Oslo, Norway; and Toronto, Canada are expected to attend.
