Nicole Caine is a current Master in Public Administration (MPA) candidate through the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Her interests lie in the fields of Disability Rights, Gender Studies, Education Policy, and Social Policy. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Gender Studies and a minor in Jewish Studies. Her focus for her undergraduate honors thesis looked at gender roles in relation to women's empowerment/disempowerment in the Jewish community. For the 2017-2018 school year, Nicole has been named both a McLane Scholar and Syracuse University Graduate Scholar.

Nicole always has her explorer's hat on, always eager to seek out new places and expand her knowledge. Since moving to Syracuse in July 2017, she has enjoyed learning about the different neighborhoods inside and surrounding the City of Syracuse, and enjoys trying new foods and restaurants every chance she gets. Nicole is honored to have the opportunity to work for BBI and can't wait to widen her knowledge through the projects she will be assisting with through research.
