Lawrence Bashe is the managing director in public finance for the investment bank, Raymond James & Associates Inc., New York. Mr. Bashe has more than 20 years of public finance experience in sectors such as health care, housing, transportation, and education. Mr. Bashe received a bachelor’s degree in political science from The College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University and a masters of public administration degree from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He is a member of the Maxwell School Advisory Board and is currently president of Syracuse University’s National Alumni Association Board and the Board of Trustees of Syracuse University. In addition to his work with his alma mater, Bashe serves on the Board of Governors for Union County College in Cranford, New Jersey.

Mr. Bashe has been a generous donor to the Fund for Syracuse and contributed to the Maxwell School Advisory Board Endowed Professorship. In 2002, he established a fellowship at the Maxwell School in honor of his friend, Brian McLane, senior advisor at the Burton Blatt Institute. Bashe also has made a gift to name a space in the new Carmelo Anthony Basketball Center in McLane’s honor.
